Ital Steam Chalice™ can be used for medicinal, spiritual & recreational purposes. Healing and/or meditation come through the inhalation of selected herbs vaporized. The base of some Ital Steam Chalices is made out of bamboo, while others are made out of dry coconut and the outer shell of the calabash fruit.

The cylinder shaped “kutchie” with screen or “gritty”, is made out of pure Jamaican clay. The thin circular shaped gritty is used for the purpose of separating the coconut charcoal (lying on the surface of the gritty) from the medicinal herb(s) lying beneath the gritty. Hence, there is no direct contact between the fire and the earth being consumed in the kutchie.

This above concept is what I refer to as the “Coal Stove” principle. In an esoteric sense, this work of art and science is also representational of the fire, earth, air, water and ether elements. As a product, the Ital Steam Chalice™is all natural!!!
